Day 5 of 30 Day Wheat Free Diet

30 Day Wheat Free Diet Day 5

This is it the day I can finally say my legs feel better. When I got out of bed my calves and Achilles were tight and achy but not as bad as usual. They quickly loosened up and felt normal. Throughout the day while at work they stayed almost entirely pain free.

Today was a pretty rainy miserable day and a few times throughout the day I got these stabbing pains in my calves. This is not unusual for me and it normally happens when there is a major change in the weather, either a high or low pressure system coming in. These pains hit me in two places the calves and the wrists/forearms. Like I said the pain is a stabbing pain in the meaty part of my calf, but in the wrists it feels like it’s deeper into the bones.

Today though I only got them a couple of times and only in my legs. They were subtle and passed quickly.

Low Blood Sugar

I have an issue with low blood sugar, my hands will get a little shaky and I’ll get a little grumpy when I’m hungry, but today it was very bad. I was preparing my lunch when my hands started shaking very noticeably; I had a jittery feeling that was almost overwhelming. Luckily I had some gluten free chips in the cupboard that I shoved into my mouth. This bought me enough time to get my lunch cooked.  By the time I finished my lunch the felling had almost completely faded.

This was most defiantly not a good feeling, and in the past no matter how hungry I have been or how long I had gone without food I have never felt like that. This is something I will have to keep in mind.
